I painted this abstract while thinking of laying in the grass and looking up through the trees into a cotton candy pink sky surrounded by trees. I tried to capture that feeling in this piece. Each stroke of my pallet knife came easily, and the result is a stunning and unique piece that would make a wonderful addition to any art collection. This one has a special place in my heart and I hope it finds it's home.
It is fully framed in gorgeous cherry wood that has a natural shimmer in it that we haven't seen in any other woods we've worked with, it is also framed using matting all held behind custom cut glass.
